We know that joining a game with its own mythology and ongoing plots can be overwhelming for first-timers, so we've created this guide to hopefully make the transition a little easier.

💥 ABOUT THE GAME

• Read about the premise **here.**
• Rules about activity requirements and general gameplay can be found here.
• Once a month, we hold a game-wide event known as "cv week" during which the au and comicverse realities collide, and characters may find themselves experiencing something known as "the shift". More information about what happens during these weeks and organizations involved in monitoring superhuman activities can be found here.
• One of the primary interactive features in this game is our rewards system, which allows you to unlock powers, items, costumes, and memories for your character by updating and participating in activities. More information on how to earn and redeem rewards can be found here.

☑️ NEW MEMBER CHECKLIST

• Once you've been added, there are a few things you need to do before the next round of adds in order to stay a member. Run the add button at the **members post.**
• Make your first post by answering at least 5 questions from the question bank or posting a random, and respond to your comments before the next round of adds.
• Once you've posted your intro and replied to comments there, post the link to your intro to the activity tracker using the form **here.**
• Remember - anything that you want counted towards monthly activity requirements or points will need to be dropped off using the activity tracker.

These are always optional but could make your experience at this game more enjoyable. We're all about interaction here at Comicbooks, and the more you interact with other players, the more fun you'll have.

A note about COVID-19: As of August 2020, COVID-19 has been **eliminated** from the ~comicbooks universe via the Reality gem. COVID-19 still remains in ~comicbooks' history, however, so it's wasn't completely wiped from existence altogether. In general, shifters may be aware that this was the Reality Gem's doing, but the general public is now under the belief that the pandemic was handled through proper channels as advised by WHO and the CDC.
